Earth hour

This year, Earth Hour falls on March 25 at 8:30 p.m. This is the time when lights are symbolically turned off for 60 minutes for the sake of the planet, the climate, the environment of people and cities under the slogan , “Together for the planet. The 15th edition of this action will be held in Poland!

Institutions, companies and residents simultaneously turn off the lights, and animations are displayed on cultural facilities.

Earth Hour is not primarily about saving energy, but a symbolic expression of concern for the planet, biodiversity, seas and oceans.

Recycling car batteries is very important from an environmental point of view, batteries contain harmful substances for humans and the planet, so it is very important that they are recycled and not dumped in landfills.

When batteries are recycled, hazardous substances such as sulfuric acids and lead are removed from them, they undergo appropriate processes where they are converted into new batteries or other products such as lead plates. With the right measures, we can reduce the amount of waste generated by humans. That’s why it’s important that throwing used car batteries into the trash can is forbidden, they should be returned to stores or waste collection centers where they can be safely recycled.

Let this short post spread awareness. We believe that with our actions we are making a contribution to saving the environment.
